Another Exciting Week

Fathers’ Day Concert

The Fathers’ Day Concert was well attended and well received. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and the event went off with a bang.

The concert group laid on their usual snacks, a cup of tea and a raffle to follow the concert itself.

If you would like to join the group you are more than welcome, they are always looking for new members whether as a singer or a support staff everybody is welcome to take part. The group meets in the hall every Monday at 12.30pm; why not come along?

Fathers’ Day Lunch

Likewise last Thursday the club held its lunch where over 60 people attended, The food as always was excellent and afterwards the lucky door prize draw meant that everybody went away with a prize. You can’t beat that can you?

Not only that but one of our members demonstrated her familiarity with modern technology by telling a joke she had downloaded onto her smart phone. Her audience was very impressed.
