Over 55?

Why not join the CPSA Dapto Seniors? The group meets every fortnight in Heininger House next to the Ribbonwood Centre on the Princes Highway right in the centre of Dapto.
Come along to see if any of the group's activities suit you. There is absolutely no obligation just come to a meeting, enjoy the friendly atmosphere and learn about the many weekly social activities (see below).
The meeting starts at 10.30 am on the pension day Thursday however it is worth getting there early to give yourself time for a chat, buy a raffle ticket, have a cup of tea and cake and browse the knick knack and book stall.
Why not drop in? You have nothing to lose and you will gain lasting friends and companions. They are a friendly bunch.

Membership is a modest $15 per year. You are encouraged to come along and try one or more of our group activities before you commit to membership.

Seniors' Picnic: April/May
Mothers' Day Lunch: 8th May Mothers' Day Concert: 4th May
Birthday Lunch: 31st July
Fathers' Day Lunch: 11th September Fathers' Day Concert: 7th September
Christmas Lunch: 11th December Christmas Concert: 30th November
While the lunches are subsidised by the club and therefore for members only the concerts are open for anybody to attend. They start at 1.30pm in Heininger Hall and afterwards the audience is offered light snack, tea or coffee while the monster door prize draw takes place. Do come along you will enjoy yourself.

Craft

 Monday 9am
Friday 1pm		 A very social group. Knitting, sewing, crochet, quilting and many other activities. Exchange skills, techniques and ideas.

Concert Group

 Monday 1pm Any talents? Singer, actor, musician… whatever it is the concert party has a place for you. Three concerts a year and a good time.

Computer & Internet

 Weekly Free, personal instruction on using a computer and browsing the Internet. Course starts from the very basics such as using the mouse to more advanced techniques and moves at YOUR pace. We are now able to connect your laptop to our Internet network so you can learn on your own computer. Book an appointment at the next meeting.

Carpet Bowls

 Tuesday 8am Another social group having a lot of fun. 8am too early? Never mind, come a bit later; the important thing is to enjoy yourself.

Whist

 Wednesday 9.30am All skill levels catered for. Good company, friendly competition.

Picnics and Lunches

 Approx five per year Lunches and picnics are held throughout the year interspersed with the occasional pie and peas nights. Great fun for all concerned.
Please come along and try an activity before you commit to joining the club you will be made very welcome.
