2015 is Winding Down

Only two more meetings before we take our end of year break. The meetings on the 19th November and 3rd December are all that remain for this year but never fear we start up again on 14th January 2016 (where does the time go?).

On the bright side we have two great events to look forward to:

The Christmas Concert

Once again our mighty concert group have put together a wonderful show to entertain and amaze you. Their take on the festive season is always fresh, exciting and, best of all, yours for a mere gold coin donation.

Join the concert group in Heininger Hall on the 30th November at 1.30pm for a fantastic show, refreshments and a chance to win one of many lucky door prizes. It is great fun and you will really enjoy yourself.

By the way if you would like to take part in our concerts the group is always looking for new performers, musicians or behind the scenes people. Why not join them? You will be made most welcome.

Christmas Lunch

At the next two meetings members will be able to buy tickets for the Christmas Lunch. For a mere $18 a delicious two course meal, good company and a lot of fun is yours for the asking.

131212 003 Christmas Lunch Dapto Leagues Club

The lunch is on the 10th December in the Sinclair Room at Dapto Leagues Club. Put the date in your diary and make sure you get a ticket; it will be great fun.

The Next Meeting – 19th November

The meeting starts promptly at 10.30 am

Don't forget to come early:

  • Buy your raffle tickets to win one of either $20 or two $10 prizes.
  • Book a computer lesson
  • Get your name down for one of the hit shows booking this year.
  • Enjoy a tea/coffee and biscuits.
  • Have a look for a bargain on the trade table.
  • Pick up a copy of The Senior Newspaper and/or The Voice when they are available.
  • Find out about our many activities that you can join in, there is something on everyday of the week.

During the meeting there will be the usual short reports about the various activities the club offers its members and you are able to bring up matters of interest to members during General Business - don't be afraid to speak up if there is something that concerns you, this is YOUR club.

The meeting usually finishes between 11 and 11.30am.

New members are most welcome to come along and find out about the club, there is a short newsletter available for new or potential members at the raffle/signing in table which details coming events and contact details for the various group leaders. Please take one.
